Hi I am Bijit K. Dutta, live in Jorhat, Assam, India.
A Physics graduate and post graduate in Tourism Management.
I travel to explore heritage & wisdom.
I travel around Assam & North East India with my camera, finding interesting stories and super humans. I blog about culture, heritage, festivals, places, events, lifestyle and for people who want to be their own super hero.
I am not a professional writer, nor photographer, but I just love to travel, take photos and sharing my region in front of you.
I am an ordinary person who loves to wander, see, explore places and learn about cultural diversity , human diversity, etc. I am not a rich kind of person like anyone else who choose to travel in other countries. Why would I go first to other countries where in North East India I can find and see many places, people, culture, festivals etc. in a just a cheaper way. And I wonder my life and wallet will be so short to know my region.
I hope you will enjoy my blog posts. Thanks.

Hi, Bijit :
Your features about North India are interesting, and via your blog they have become personalized … and not so remote anymore. Two of my batchmates during my Alexandria-Egypt days were from India, both lawyers. Your pics validate their stories !
Hope to visit your place someday. It’s in my bucket list !

I love your story and blog. Touring India has a role in my creating a blog. My daughter-in-law was born in New Delhi and moved to the US with her parents as a young child. This past spring she, my son and two grandchildren spent two months in India visiting countless cousins and seeing marvelous sights, including painting an elephant. It was the first visit for my grandchildren, Kieran aged 11 and Leela aged 9. They both wrote blogs to describe their journey. When I decided to start a blog, Kieran walked me through the Word Press instructions and now here I am.
